How Sweeper works
Sweeper is our office football prediction game: everyone chips in a small entry fee, predicts the results, and the sharpest minds split the pot. Here's the whole journey.
Create an account
Register with your email and confirm it via the link we send you (check the spam folder — workplace mail can be slow). Unverified accounts can't join tournaments.
On a work email? The confirmation can land in your spam digest (e.g. Mimecast's "Messages on hold") — click Permit there and future Sweeper emails arrive normally. No email at all? Ask an admin to verify you manually.Join a tournament & pay the entry fee
Open a tournament and hit Join. Pay the entry fee with Swish — most tournaments show a button and QR code with the amount and message pre-filled. The admin confirms your payment manually, and then you're in. The whole pot is paid back out as prizes; nobody takes a cut.
Predict the scores
Enter your score for each match — you can change it until the betting deadline (shown on every match, typically 30 minutes before kickoff). Your picks are private until the deadline; after that everyone's picks go public, with stats and reactions. Tip: turn on auto-pick on My page to get a standard score entered if you ever forget, and enable notifications (the bell) for deadline reminders and full-time results.
Score points
Results import automatically — live too. The standard scoring (tournaments can tweak it): 3 p for the exact score · 1 p for the correct outcome (win/draw/loss) · +1 p for picking the team that advances in a knockout.
Win the pot
Follow the scoreboard and the rank race as the tournament unfolds. When the last match is played the tournament finishes automatically: the podium appears, prize winners get an email, and the admin pays out the prizes (a typical split is 70/20/10 % of the pot to the top three).
